Selina Cunningham is the Pharmacy Academic at the Centre for Rural and Remote Health, Mount Isa. Selina supports students and interns through learning and immersion in the community. She also co-ordinates pharmacy student placements in and around the region to remote areas, which allows students to see first-hand the opportunities and challenges rural pharmacy can present. Support and education for health professionals and students in rural areas are also key aspects of Selina’s role, as well as conducting research examining the rural health workforce and expanded pharmacy practice.
