Joyce McSwan is the Clinical Program Director of the Gold Coast Primary Health Network Persistent Pain Program, as well as the Managing Director of PainWISE. A multi-award-winning clinical pharmacist, pain educator and pain program developer, Joyce is well-known for her work in the area of pain and is an advocate of achieving patient outcomes with a focus on the whole person approach, based on current scientific evidence and innovative collaborative systems. Her area of focus includes encouraging talent and innovation in her fellow pharmacists to enhance their health care role, especially in the fields of pain management and responsible use of medicines. Joyce is also President Elect of the Australian Pain Society and Principal CPD Director of the Australian Health Practitioner Advisory Solutions (AHPAS).
