Sarah Morisaki is the Rural and Indigenous (RANDI) Health Chair for the National Australian Pharmacy Students' Association. She recently completed her pharmacy degree at the Queensland University of Technology and is shortly completing her internship in Brisbane. Sarah’s love for rural pharmacy started when she completed a four-week placement in Cherbourg, an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community three hours west of Brisbane, where she enjoyed the feeling of community while in a clinical setting. As the RANDI chair for NAPSA, Sarah’s focus is on advocating for other students to take rural/regional placements to increase employment in these settings.
