Chris O’Donnell is a Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Director of My Weight Loss Clinic in Brisbane who has research interests in obesity management. Chris has worked in Europe and more recently, at Gold Coast University and Robina Hospitals. He provides high level, strategic nursing and midwifery advice and stewardship to the Director-General, Department of Health and Minister for Health and Minister for Ambulance Services, contributing to the overall system management of public health services across Queensland. Chris, who leads a number of workforce and advanced practice initiatives and has always been a strong advocate and leader of advanced practice nursing, particularly nurse-led services and nurse practitioner education, has a vision for providing leading edge patient care whilst advancing professional nursing practice.
